Every wedding we photograph is special to us. It’s a huge honor that our couples trust us to document the most important moments of their lives. It’s also FUN! We get to meet and celebrate with amazing and wonderful people and their families. We are allowed access really intimate moments and special relationships and are given permission to document it all. Some weddings are especially special to us – and Nina and Gitau’s wedding certainly is one of them. We were are so grateful that they trusted us.
You can never know when love will make its way into your life. It could be while you’re looking for it or even when you’re least expecting it. You don’t get to choose who you fall in love with, or when. But when it comes around, it’s the best thing that can ever happen to you in this lifetime.
Stop. Don’t go anywhere. Look at this blog because these two are so freaking gorgeous and lovely humans.Joy & Mathew is such a gorgeous couple who wanted to keep their engagement session casual and fun out in nature, but still with a touch of fashion. I think they pulled it off perfectly! The touches of rainy weather coming through added so much warmth to the images.Mathew seemed shy at first but he got used to my camera very quickly and it wasn’t long before he got an elbow in the ribs from Joy when he started being playful and ended up teasing the photographer I love when a couple’s true personalities come out like this – it makes my job easier on the wedding day to focus on who they are and to tell their unique story.Thank you for trusting us for your engagement photos, you both were superstars to brave these conditions and it was such a pleasure to work with you. I am so excited to be photographing your wedding soon!
We honestly don’t know what to say about these two…
There is too much goodness. Too much kindness. Too freaking much love to really be able to express it in words (good thing you’re about to see the photos right?)!
Tessy & Dan are the type of couple you meet once and just want to be around all the time. They are joyful and it radiates through them constantly (it is seriously 100% contagious). They are the couple you can be around for just a few moments and just know they are each other’s home and person. So take a look and absorb all their cuteness through these photographs from their gorgeous garden wedding at one of our favorite places to photograph weddings, Eva’s Garden Redhilland Thayu Farm Hotel
James and Anja tied the knot at one of our favorite churches at P.C.E.A. Church of the Torch Thogoto. The moment we walked into Anja’s room at Southern Sun Mayfair Nairobi for her getting-ready photos, we were immediately drawn to Anja’s gown. The beautiful detail of the back was completely unique and unlike anything we had ever photographed before in Nairobi or any other destination we have photographed weddings at. We were in love with this Church. The venue was beautiful, as anyone who has been there can attest to. What is even more interesting than the beautiful architecture that lends itself to amazing photographs, is the story about how Anja and James chose the venue. If you have never been to this church, you are missing out on a little piece……….. This was one party that will definitely be hard to ever forget. From the moment we first walked in, the energy was buzzing and the event was beautiful. When we walked in the reception at Fuchsia Gardens Eldo Farm, we were blown away by the layout of the decor as well by Angelic Touch Events. They both understand the importance of photography, and it was especially important in the case of their wedding. Anja and James’s emotions were incredible and provided us with many opportunities tocreate beautiful wedding portraits for them. We had an incredible time photographing this couple’s wedding, and like most weddings, we are always sad when the event passes, however I am sure we will be seeing this couple again in the future, and cannot wait for theopportunitiestodocumenttheirstorythatwillarise.
