Christine + Kenneth‘s wedding was our last for 2017, and what a way to end the year!  Their ceremony and reception were held at Langata Botanical Gardens in Langata..What a testament to what a great venue this is, and what an honor it was for us to be their photographers! They enjoyed perfect weather for their outdoor ceremony, and had only their closest family and friends with them on their wedding day. Christine + Kenneth were very grateful to their guests that traveled so far to celebrate with them. The dancing never stopped at this wedding, enjoy the photos!

I remember when I was in school, they would ask, ‘What are you going to be when you grow up?’ and then you’d have to draw a picture of it. I drew a picture of myself as a bride. Gwen Stefani Wambui Mukenyi Wedding Gowns :: Kenyan Designer Fashion House

One tradition I have with my friends is that when one of us gets married, we have a ton of fragrance oils and pretty bottles at the bachelorette party. Everyone puts a drop or two in a bottle for the bride and makes a wish, and the bride wears our creation on her wedding day. I come from a culture where we wear white for weddings. In India, it’s different. But I really feel that there should be no set notions, and a bride should only wear something when she’s comfortable in it. Nargis Fakhri Wambui Mukenyi Wedding Gowns By Antony Trivet Fashion

I was a fashion editor for years in London before I came to ‘Vogue,’ and I spent my life arranging the folds of a ball gown skirt for a picture and pinning fabric and using all those stylist tricks. And you don’t have to do that now because they can do it in Photoshop. Hamish Bowles Wambui Mukenyi Wedding Gowns By Antony Trivet Fashion
I see myself as a true modernist. Even when I do a traditional gown, I give it a modern twist. I go to the past for research. I need to know what came before so I can break the rules. Vera Wang Wambui Mukenyi Wedding Gowns By Antony Trivet Fashion
My great, great grandfather, Michael O’Hanson, fled the impending potato famine of Ireland and arrived in America in the early 1840s with his bride, Bridget. I did get to keep the wedding dresses from ‘Runaway Bride’. They’re all boxed up in my garage. I’ve never opened them. It’ll be fun one day when Hazel is taller. She can play dress-up with her friends. Julia Roberts Wambui Mukenyi Wedding Gowns By Antony Trivet Fashion

I love you, not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you, not only for what you have made of yourself but for what you are making of me. Roy Croft
To keep the fire burning brightly there’s one easy rule: Keep the two logs together, near enough to keep each other warm and far enough apart – about a finger’s breadth- for breathing room. Good fire, good marriage, same rule. – Marnie Reed Crowel
I choose you. And I’ll choose you over and over and over. Without pause, without a doubt, in a heartbeat. I’ll keep choosing you
I realized I was thinking of you, and I began to wonder how long you’d been on my mind. Then it occurred to me: Since I met you, you’ve never left.

Cold seasons has to be one of our favorite times for engagement photos, everything looks so pretty and romantic. But when you’re photographing Grace and Moses, I think we could have done it anywhere and it would have turned out pretty and romantic (and pretty darn fun). These two are just the best, complete gems, inside and out.
