Watamu beach: Watamu beach located alongside Malindi beach in Malindi is found in North of Mombasa 105 kilometers away. Lying between the Watamu bay and Blue lagoon is one of the beautiful beaches found in the North. Tourism is the main economic activity on the beach and fishing. Marine park is the best snorkeling and diving areas along the coast of East Africa.
Malindi beach is the third best-rated beaches in Africa with clear crystal water and silver sand beaches. The beach is managed by a unique organization formed by locals in the form of an association called Watamu Marine Association to preserve and conserve the beach.
